INTRODUCTION

Rockmax Roofseal V1 is one component water based acrylic liquid waterproofing membrane. The special integral micro reinforcement improves tensile strength and increase durability of coating. The product provides high elasticity and good watertight to its structure.

    • APPLICATION AND INSTALLATION

    PREPARATION

    Concrete substrate must be sound, clean, free from oil, grease, mould oil, dust, loose particles and cement paste. Ensure the surface is dry and free from standing water. The moisture content in concrete substrate must be check with limited not more than 5% moisture contents. Investigate void, honeycomb, or crack on concrete substrate. All damaged must be repair prior to application. All joints and corner must be treated with Rockmax PUseal.

    PRIMING

    Apply one coat of dilute Rockmax Roofseal V1 with water at 1:1 ratio to prepared surface at approximate 0.2kg/m 2 per coat by roller. Allow the prime coat to dry at 1-3 hours prior to apply body coats.

    APPLICATION

    Mixer must use low speed drill mixer (500 rpm) with and including good quality steel paddle. Make sure all tools and equipments are in good conditions and clean. Stir Rockmax Roofseal V1 by mixer at approximate 1 minute until uniform homogeneous.

    Apply First coat of Rockmax Roofseal V1 by roller with coverage rate at 0.30 kg per m 2 per coat. Allow the first coat to dry at 2-4 hours before next coat. Apply second and third coat to achieve 1mm total thickness (DFT). Follow first coat application method. Fiber mesh might be used between the first coat and second coat. The thickness of product depends on number of coats, application method, substrate quality and other factors related to application.     STORAGE

    Storage in shade and dry condition. Avoid from frost, water, UV, moisture and high temperature.
